  3. Insect Bites – They are the most common causes of an itchy bumpy skin. Insects such as mosquitos, bees, ants, bedbugs, mites, ticks, spiders, and fleas are the most known causes of skin bumps. Some may appear few while others appear as numerous tiny itchy skin bumps like mosquito bites. It’s important to prevent insect-related bites by using bug repellant, wearing long sleeves, sturdy shoes, and long pants. Also, treat your pets with tick and flea medication.
  4. Heat Rash – It causes itchy and red bumps that feel tingle and prickly. Commonly they form around the neck and areas where people sweat a lot. They appear in different forms, sometimes as red other times as a tiny clear blister. It’s common in hot weather and goes away on its own when the skin cools down.
  5. Infections – Various infections can cause skin bumps on the skin. Mostly they are caused by bacteria in the skin. To treat this condition, you require the respective bacteria medication in order to effectively eliminate the skin bumps.
  6. Allergic Reaction – Certain foods and medication can cause an allergic reaction that can break out to form a rash that looks like mosquito bites all over the body or in some areas. It’s important to check with a doctor in case of skin rashes related to allergic reactions since some of them can be really dangerous.

Put dried thyme leaves in hot water, wait for the solution to cool down and then apply to the affected area using a damp cloth.
  • Oatmeal – Oatmeal is one of the most common natural home remedies that are used in the production of body washes and skin creams for sensitive skin. It provides a smooth and calm effect on the affected irritated skin.
  • Glycerin – It is an affordable and effective skin reliever for a wide number of skin complications. Glycerin contains Humectants which aid in creating a cooling and moisturizing effect on an irritated skin.

It’s however recommended that you identify the cause of the red and itchy bumps all over your body prior to choosing a certain treatment.

Prevention

It’s always best to avoid a problem rather than solving one. After determining what is causing the random itchy bumps on the body you can always avoid repetitive conditions. This is possible especially if the rash is caused by conditions that can be avoided such as an allergic reaction and insect’s bites. Once you discover the cause of your skin condition, try as much as possible to keep away from them as much as possible.
